Third I AM RRI stakeholder foresight future workshop (web-based workshop)

Additive Manufacturing (AM) is a very dynamic area and technology bundle. The EU H2020 project I AM RRI is an EU project, which investigates and models the “web of innovation and value chains of additive manufacturing under consideration of responsible research and innovation (RRI)”. The project also analyses the trends, drivers and influencing factors, and the latest developments on this AM innovation system.

The I AM RRI project will host the third stakeholder workshop on Thu 18 Feb 2021 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m CET-

We invited stakeholders of the AM innovation system to assess the influences and to work out future shapes of the key drivers and derived consequences in future scenarios of AM Innovation system.

As part of the I AM RRI project, different scenarios for the future of additive manufacturing were developed, which will be discussed in that workshop. Afterwards we want to address the following questions:

  • How can the scenarios for additive manufacturing be evaluated, which have been developed within the EU project I AM RRI?
  • What opportunities, risks and measures result from these scenarios?
  • What consequences can be derived from this?

Your additive manufacturing expertise and input will be very valuable for this workshop.

In the workshop, we will also inform you about the activities in the I AM RRI project, which focuses on modelling the innovation value chains in additive manufacturing and identifying openings for "Responsible Research and Innovation" in these value chains.

First Stakeholder Foresight I AM RRI Workshop

First Stakeholders Foresight I AM RRI Workshop

The first I AM RRI Stakeholder Workshop was held in Metz at 26.3.2019. Agenda of the meeting can be downloaded.

The first stakeholders foresight workshop helped to narrow down the number of factors describing a complex system like webs of innovation value chains in AM. The results of the first workshop will be the starting point for the second stakeholder workshop.
